This is one of the 1995s that I have really enjoyed since birth. This tasting confirms its very good performance. It is distinguished by the absence of harsh tannins on the finish. Very beautiful dark red, with black reflections and very slight evolution on the fringe. Beautiful nose, fresh, fruity, pure, intense. More subtle on the decanted wine. Very nice entry in the mouth, suave, developing slender on a good body. Throughout the palate, the wine plays between smoothness, smoothness and tannic firmness. The tannin is never rough or massive. And yet he remains present in the final. Beautiful sappy length. We suck it! A wine that lingers on the palate. Here a short decantation (5 minutes) opened the end of the mouth

Château Branaire Ducru is a fourth classified growth (classification of Bordeaux wines in 1855) of the Saint-Julien appellation in Médoc. The vineyard extends over nearly 60 hectares of vines. Château Branaire-Ducru is today one of the jewels of Saint Julien. This Grand Cru Classé is sought after for its very pure red fruit. Its typical composition of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, opens with dazzling aromas of raspberry and blackberry, before becoming more complex on the palate with delicate nuances of mineral, pencil lead, smoke and flowers. of spring… The Château also produces a second wine: Duluc de Branaire Ducru. 

The best vintages of Château Branaire Ducru are 1975, wines of 1982, 1989 vintage wines, the 1995 vintage and the 1996 vintage. The wines of 2000, 2001, 2003 and 2005 are also exceptional. Finally, the great vintages of 2009, vintage 2010 and the 2015 vintage are great vintages.
