(06-1995) A serious wine. A touch of malt or caramel on the nose which then opened up spicily. A fairly sweet, fleshy, chunky mouthful, excellent with venison.

Jeannie Cho Lee (4-2013) This is a beautiful bottle to enjoy now - not one to keep longer, even in a magnum. The flavours are subtle and layered with notes of sweet cedarbox, dried red berries, leather and sweet spices. The nose and mid palate are attractive but the finish is shorter than what the wine initially offers.
