Robert PARKER - The Wine Advocate
Robert PARKER - The Wine Advocate
(4-1999). This wine, a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot, is performing well after its July, 1998 bottling. It boasts an impressively saturated purple color, in addition to a backward yet intense nose of black plums, currants, licorice, and smoke. Following terrific fruit on the attack, the wine's structure and tannin take over. There is plenty of sweet fruit, and the tannin is well-integrated.

Tasting George LEPROSY:. "Dense garnet color of good density, speaks with authority nose with notes of plum, black fruit pulp, vanilla, cinnamon, ventilation appear musk and smoke. Since the attack the wine is required by a sharp and vigorous fruity freshness, followed by a substantial tannic structure and a nice fat. It continues to move smoothly to a final sustained, still as fresh and tasty.

(1-1999). Dark-colored, and bubbling over with raspberry, black currant and spices. Full- to medium-bodied, with well-integrated, silky tannins and a spicy, fruity aftertaste. Palmer is always a joy to taste and the '96 is no exception.

"It has a dense color, highly colored, and an expressive nose of blackberry and plum. With a high proportion of Merlot (40%), the `palate impresses with its velvety texture, the finish being relayed by the structure of Cabernet Sauvignon (55%) and Petit Verdot (5%). `If the whole is slow-at least eight years to melt, the quality and concentration of tannins allow for a seamless aging. ».

Palmer

The Château Palmer, is a french estate located in the Gironde Cantenac Margaux. In Margaux appellation, it is ranked third classified growth in the official classification of Bordeaux wines of 1855. The Château Palmer Grand Cru is a matter of origin in time and in space. The style of Château Palmer, steeped in history and dedicated to the expression of its terroir, fashions and trends over. To prove its timelessness no better way than to taste.

The Château Palmer reveals an extraordinarily complex bouquet that combines fruits, flowers, spices, wrapped in a generous and fleshy structure. This subtle balance between wealth and power aromatic tannins, still held, in fact a wine of incomparable charm from an early age. His persistence leaves an intoxicating sensations and emotions mixed.
