Château informations
The Château Lynch-Moussas is a french estate near to Bordeaux. It is a fifth classified growth of Médoc classification in 1855.
The name comes from the Lynch-Moussas shared ownership of the Earl Lynch-Moussas Lynch and Lynch-Bages in the nineteenth century, Moussas is where lies much of the vineyard. The family Castéja, owner of Chateau Lynch-Moussas, since the sixteenth century in Pauillac, acquired the castle in the early twentieth century. It was not until 1970 that Emile Casteja inherits and manages. He immediately set out to restore its influence in this property. Since 2001, his son, Philippe Casteja who took over the reins of the properties of the left bank.
The year 2001 saw the birth of the second wine of Chateau Les Hauts de Lynch-Moussas. The Chateau Lynch-Moussas is one of the few family properties to be distributed by the Bordeaux.
