(09-2014) Milchiges Mokka-Aroma, Oliventapenade und viel cremige Eiche. Schöne Ausdauer und superfeines Tanningefühl. Kräftig aromatisch im Abgang – diese „rundige“ Pfeffermischung. Viel Geschmack, modern und stilisiert. Die Kühnheit ist vielleicht nicht jedermanns Sache, aber die Intensität des Geschmacks lässt sich nicht leugnen.

(08-2014) Der 2007er Cote Rotie la Mouline besticht durch seine Fülle und Tiefe, mit einem immer noch straffen, konzentrierten und jugendlichen Profil, das nach ein paar weiteren Jahren im Keller schreit. Unter Verzicht auf viel geräucherte Erde, Toast, Trockenblumen, Graphit, Schokolade und einen Hauch von Speckfett ist es eine maskuline Version dieser Cuvée, die sich in weiteren drei bis vier Jahren entfalten und bis 2032 wunderbar trinken sollte.

The Maison GUIGAL vinifies and ages in its cellars, in Ampuis, the northern appellations of the Rhône Valley which are Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu, Hermitage, Saint-Joseph and Crozes-Hermitage. The aging of the southern appellations Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas, Tavel and Côtes-du-Rhône is also assured in the Ampuis cellars.

The Hermitage 'Ex-Voto' is produced in the greatest vintages while the Saint-Joseph 'Lieu-Dit Saint-Joseph' in white and red and the famous Saint-Joseph red 'Vignes de l'Hospice' constitute references for this Appellation.
