Château Beychevelle is a fourth classified grand cru (classification of Medoc wines of 1855) of the Saint-Julien appellation. Located on the left bank of the Médoc, the vineyard includes 92 hectares of vines. The vines are around 30 years old and benefit from reasoned treatment. Château Beychevelle is a classic Saint-Julien: roundness, rich aromas, and power. The classic harmony of the greatest Médoc, which deserves much more than the fourth cru of the 1855 classification.
The best vintages of Beychevelle are undoubtedly 1982 and the vintage 1986. The wines of 1989, 2000 and grands crus of 2005 are equally exceptional. Finally, Château Beychevelle has also produced great vintages such as 2009, 2010 and the 2015 vintage.

This is an estate where the 1991 has outperformed the 1992. The 1991 offers an attractive, curranty, sweet, oaky nose, soft, round, elegant flavors, admirable ripeness, low acidity, and a plush finish. Although not a big wine, it is graceful, fruity, and tasty.
A well-made, sexy wine that delivers lovely aromas of violet, smoke and blackberry. Stands out among the 1991s with its silky texture and good intensity.
Very forthcoming, fragrant nose, easy, oaky style.
